Yes. You can easily activate your free trial at this link and start using Scops free of charge for 14 days.
A user is anyone on your team with a unique email address. Each team member should have their own user license. Users can access Scops from as many devices as they want (PCs, phones, tablets, etc.) at no additional cost.
Yes. Upgrading your account is easy! All your content will remain the same: your files will stay where they are and all your settings will remain the same. For admins, all members of your team who are already using Scops will have the same experience, and anyone who doesn't have an existing Scops account will be invited to sign up when you send them an invitation.
Yes. The basic Scops package includes 3 users, but you don't need to use all your licenses right away. Because licenses can be reused, many of our customers reserve additional licenses for contractors or customers.

A pilot project usually starts from a sub-area of the plant or building (for example warehouse area, production area, etc.) or from individual users (for example compressors, HVAC, fridge, etc.).
Once the area of interest of the pilot project has been identified, we proceed with a specific offer that includes both the software component, the possible hardware sensor component and the support for the Scops setup.
The pilot project is managed with our support and typically lasts between two and four weeks.
A pilot project is structured on a small scale so that it requires the least possible expenditure of internal resources. Usually an internal contact person (project manager) and a reference technician are sufficient for us. The project manager usually takes less than ten hours to manage the client-side project and the technician's commitment depends on the complexity in the field (time to install the sensors or to open communication on existing databases).
The sensors provided by us are i.IoT sensors and are supplied ready to use, it is only necessary to position and turn on the Data Transmission Gateway.
Temperature and vibration sensors, for example, only need to be anchored to the affected surface.
The sensors have low power consumption and can be installed without wiring.
The current sensors can be installed with clips that do not require disconnecting the power cables.
Once the sensors have been placed, the Gateway will transmit the data via 3G/4G or through the company Ethernet directly to our Scops software.
The operation of the sensors depends on the monitored variable, but they are all based on Long Range (LoRa) radio technology that allows the monitoring of hundreds of points with a single gateway. The advantage of this technology is that it supports a wide range of low energy consumption sensors that can be placed even in areas less accessible by wired systems.
Yes, it is possible to analyze data from existing sensors. This data must be collected in a database (Scada, Historian) from which it will be possible to import data to Scops through automated data transfer protocols. Otherwise, it is possible to transfer data from IoT sensors to Scops, which must then be collected by a dedicated gateway.
It is also possible to import data from Excel files through the Data Portal function. In this case, you will need to import the data manually.
We provide both set-up and ongoing support and training. Support is always provided remotely and in specific cases a field intervention can be arranged. Support is provided on an hourly basis or in pre-agreed packages of hours.
The cost components are mainly three:
- Software component: depends on the number of users and the number of variables you intend to monitor (for example 5 users)
- Hardware component: depends on the number of sensors and gateways purchased (for example, 20 sensors and one gateway). ) *
- Support component: depends on the number of hours of support/training/setup needed. (for example, a certain number of hours to launch the operation of the solution and then packages of hours for subsequent support)
* the hardware component is optional and data analysis can be based on sensors already in the field if compatible
Our sensors can monitor dozens of different variables, from monitoring current, to temperature and vibrations. Other examples of sensors are: pressure, humidity, presence, light, open/close, flow rate.
The number of sensors depends on the number of users to monitor and the granularity required. For example, for a project that involves the monitoring of the refrigerator units, one or more sensors can be provided per unit. For an energy monitoring project, it is useful to provide a sensor for each relevant electrical panel. The sensors can be installed directly on the machine or on the wiring that powers the machine or its electrical panel.
Yes, data storage is included in the annual Scops subscription and is based on cloud technology. The ownership of the data always belongs to the customer who has the right to request a copy at any time.
Certainly. Scops is a Cloud solution so it is possible to access the software from both a mobile phone and a tablet. In addition, it is not necessary to install an App, but it can be accessed from a web browser.
Scops is a solution that offers all the benefits of functionality, versatility and cost-effectiveness offered by cloud solutions that are not on premise. Cloud solutions make the work of the IT department easier and guarantee the possibility of being used even in the field through a tablet or mobile phone.
The data is protected by encryption protocols that make the data transfer secure. The data is processed and stored on the most secure cloud providers on the market (Google and Amazon). In any case, the data is always the property of the customer and can always be downloaded locally.
Scops also provides a Single Sign On based login option compatible with major providers such as Microsoft 365.
The sensor data is prepared by Scops and made available for analysis through interactive dashboards that make accessible information that was previously impossible to obtain or required a lot of manual preparation.
Scops has specific automated analysis capabilities for reporting operational and energy consumption anomalies that use Machine Learning algorithms (the engine behind Artificial Intelligence). This allows you to receive e-mail alerts in case any monitored parameter drifts.
Algorithms typically need a few weeks of data to start learning and for seasonal analyses they typically need a longer history to better understand business production cycles.
Scops allows you to monitor and reduce energy consumption by up to 15% through Data-Driven management of energy users. In fact, Scops allows:
- To always have under control the individual consumption items of each monitored area or machinery
- Identify consumption anomalies through dashboard exploration
- Receive automated alerts and alerts on consumption anomalies
- Compare the energy efficiency of comparable machines or areas (for example refrigeration units, compressors or comparable rooms)
- Activate logical alerts when preset threshold levels have been reached
- Have always updated reports on energy consumption
- Prevent possible failures through early signals given by increasing consumption often recorded by units such as compressors, HVAC or refrigerators.
- Avoid cabling costs and database licenses when using LoRa radio sensors
Scops combines the advantages of a fast and powerful solution for monitoring energy consumption in the field, surpassing traditional solutions both in terms of performance and cost because:
- It's quick to implement
- It is simple to use and requires little training
- It is equipped with powerful Machine Learning algorithms that help with the monitoring work.
- It allows the collection of field data from IoT sensors, easy to install and at low prices.
- Avoid having to use Historian or Scada databases if they are not already there
- It is based on a Software as a Service model and therefore requires no workload for the IT department
- It is not based on a licensing system, but you only pay for what you use
